Record-high violent crime, gun map, homicide and race, DPD DUI

The Denver Crimes Thursday August 31, 2017 email newsletter.

Yes, this is the Denver Post Crimes email newsletter. The numbers are in, and July 2017 was the most-violent month Denver's seen in the previous five years. Denver had 453 reported violent crimes reported in July, a new high-water mark.

I also want to recommend John Ingold's report on Denver's gun-related homicides and race, it's a good read. And with that, here's the news.
