Here are the numbers and the data on citywide property crime and per-neighborhood crime rates in Denver in 2024, compared with 2023's numbers.

Property crime counts in Denver in 2024 declined significantly from 2023's total, which were lower than 2022's total as well. 33,000 reported crimes in 2024, down from 40,000 in 2023 and 44,000 in 2022.

Here's how this change breaks down on a neighborhood level.

Property crime at DIA fell by more than half — while the neighborhood still has the highest property crime rate in Denver, Central Park now has the largest count of property crimes in a neighborhood. On the flip side, Montclair and University Hills saw the largest percentage increase in property crime rates.
